Nitoprime 25 is a two component solvent containing primer consisting of modified epoxy resin based primer.

It is used in conjunction with Nitomortar, Nitoflor and Nitocote products.

Nitoprime 25 is suitable for priming concrete surfaces prior to the application of any of the Nitoflor SL2000/4000, TS / TF range of resin based floor toppings, Nitocote range of protective coatings or Nitomortar range of epoxy repair mortars.

Once mixed the primer should be applied immediately in a thin continuous film to the clean prepared surface. Work the primer into the surface using a stiff brush or roller. Excess

application and puddling should be avoided. On porous surfaces Nitoprime 25 will be absorbed very quickly leaving characteristic light coloured dry patches. it is recommended

that a second priming coat be applied to these dry areas. This not only helps to ensure good adhesion but also prevents air release from the porous substrate which may cause

bubbles in the final epoxy topping later. For Nitoflor SL2000 / 4000 applications, leave the Nitoprime 25 to dry overnight. For Nitoflor TF, Nitomortar and Nitocote, allow the solvent in the Nitoprime 25 to evaporate and become tacky. the relevant datasheets may please be referred to, to ensure this
